The Regional Branch Manager I is a brand advocate for the credit union and will ensure Pioneer’s brand is maintained at all times. Ensures branch supervisors are holding themselves and their team members accountable for upholding a professional appearance in accordance with Pioneer’s Team Member Handbook. The Regional Branch Manager I is to provide strong leadership to fulfill the credit union’s core strategy, mission, and vision. Responsible for ensuring Pioneer’s service standards are always met while diligently working towards delivering “WOW” through exceptional service.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Pioneer’s branch team members through subordinate supervisors and directs all aspects of those daily operations, the quality of member service, policy and procedures, strategic vision and implementation, and ensures compliance with operational regulations and policies. Directs, coaches, develops, and motivates branch supervisors to ensure defined goals and objectives are being met and that each branch is providing “WOW” service to our membership. Proactively monitors branch operational results relative to established goals and objectives, and assists branch supervisors in meeting or exceeding targets. Ensures the credit union is maintaining high standards in regard to the overall member experience. Utilizes solid problem-solving skills. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Takes action to team member concerns. Resolves member related concerns and issues upon escalation.
  • Researches short- and long-term plans, objectives and projects, and then makes recommendations to the VP of Branch Administration. Explains products and services, and holds team members accountable to do the same, to ensure that all branch locations are providing “WOW” service. Monitors branch budgets and travels to different branch locations.
  • Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established credit union policies, guidelines and procedures. Adds value to the credit union by  consistently applying knowledge and skills, to contribute to organizational and team goals, and fosters a collaborative and respectful environment.
  • Responsible for proactively coaching branch supervisors around established sales goals/objectives and to hold branch supervisors accountable for doing the same. Reinforces policies, procedures, and training to maintain a team that is skilled and demonstration a high level of product knowledge.
