Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • WEBSITE MANAGEMENT Primary person responsible for website management including rates, documents, creative assets, forms, advertisements, member communication, and compliance.
    • Keep website updated to optimize sales and marketing initiatives and maintain compliance standards.
    • Recommend and implement content for member education opportunities.
    • Maintain relationship with web development agency to resolve technical issues and ensure security needs are met.
    • Identify ways to improve site experience.
  • DIGITAL MARKETING Collaborate with digital marketing agency, marketing team and other resources to develop marketing related to member education, product awareness/adoption and membership growth.
    • Participate with marketing team to strategize placement and design of online advertising, including Google Ads and social media ads.
    • Adapt and edit landing pages as needed for both internal and external digital campaigns and promotions.
    • Assist in the development of content marketing from both internal and external resources.
    • Execute email marketing campaigns that align with the marketing plan and corporate goals.
    • Work with internal team members to help creatively improve processes and enhance the member experience using marketing automation tools.
    • Maintain knowledge of CRM tools and data; work with internal IT resources to ensure data integrity.
  • DIGITAL MARKETING ANALYSIS Collaborate with Red Canoe’s digital marketing agency and marketing management team to maximize ROI of digital marketing efforts.
    • Review agency reporting with marketing management team; analyze trends and provide suggestions to drive revenue.
    • Utilize data to help marketing team develop and enhance online media offers and measure response to different media.
    • Establish and report metrics on social media efforts. Track, identify and analyze trends to maximize social media efforts.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA Implement social media updates with the support of the marketing team. Keep social channels active and relevant with posts that support engagement, member education/communication, product awareness, membership growth, community relations, and brand awareness.
    • Develop social content and calendar to keep channels engaged and relevant.
    • Implement social media advertising campaigns that align with the marketing plan and corporate goals.
    • Monitor online communication channels for mentions of Red Canoe and respond accordingly. Serve as a mediator for the credit union in online communications.
    • File membership complaints according to policy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be bondable
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel and spend time out of the office, which may include nights and/or weekends
  • Have a professional and courteous attitude with the ability to collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate excellent written and proofreading skills with a commitment to quality work
  • Must meet schedule and deadline commitments and handle projects with limited supervision

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two+ years digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office systems
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite advertising tools and analytics
  • Experience with Google Analytics, understanding of GA4 updates preferred
  • Experience with content management systems, WordPress preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, Hubspot highly preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related fields
  • HubSpot Certified
  • Google Ads Certified

 ESSENTIAL MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  •  Physical – Office mobility required. Approximately 20% standing, 70% sitting, 10% walking, as needs demand. Possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment including a computer, photocopier, telephone, and vehicles. Other demands include talking, handling, reaching, seeing (corrected vision) and hearing in normal range. A telephone device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed. Occasional light lifting: maximum lift requirement is 30 pounds. Maximum reach required is 84 inches.

Transport within remote department and/or main office/facility may be single or multilevel (as required) including a variety of stairways, elevators, etc. Exposure to computer and other electronic equipment. Lunch/break area is exposed to microwave and is in basement at main office. Facility is 100% free of tobacco smoke.
  • Equipment – Essential equipment used includes, but may not be limited to telephone, personal computer, calculator, printer, photocopier, and office security systems.
