Job Description:

Interview loan applicants and provide information on consumer loan products that best meet the member’s needs. Request and review all required information and documentation to secure a loan.

Obtain and evaluate credit reports. Calculate debt-to-income ratios on loan applicants.

Determine collateral needs and payment plans for members applying for loans. Promote credit union products and services.

Notify applicant of loan decision. Recommend and outline terms of loans.

Prepare, analyze, process and document all required forms and related documentation for loan products.

Assist members with the loan application process in person, on the phone, or electronically to ensure completeness of information.

Input loans in the computer system. Complete loan documents and disburse loans when approved.

Ensure that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data.

Process all loan applications that come in from the dealer network. Maintain a strong working relationship with the auto/RV/boat dealer network.


Education/Experience Required:

One year of banking or credit union experience.

Must have strong attention to detail.
