Commercial Loan Relationship Officer

Supports commercial deposit functions as needed. Complies with policies and procedures within the department in accordance with the credit union’s objectives and regulations. Reviews the status of current loans outstanding and coordinates and assists in the monitoring of accounts to detect and anticipate changes. Responsible for assisting in completion of commercial account department projects and assignments. Conducts complex tax and credit analysis projects recommending solutions to commercial lending challenges and prepares loan presentations for senior management and applicable loan committees. Evaluates financial alternatives and recommends appropriate action. Reports to Commercial Markets Director.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Qualified applicant must have strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of business financial, tax and credit analysis, loan underwriting and must be bondable. Position requires a high standard of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Will have thorough knowledge of loan processing and commercial lending rules, regulations, and laws; working knowledge of commercial underwriting principles and credit reporting functions; the ability to understand and retain a variety of detailed information on overall portfolio loans and products. Must be PC-proficient in a windows environment which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial analysis software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Five to eight years of similar or related experience. (1) A bachelor’s degree (Business or Accounting preferred), or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
SALARY: Based on Experience.
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
WORK LOCATION: East Bend Branch.
PROPOSED SCHEDULE: The standard work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to closing.
