InRoads Credit Union is seeking a diligent, and knowledgeable full time Business Member Service Officer to join our team in Scappoose, Oregon. This position comes with a full benefit package including a matching 401k and is eligible for a hybrid/remote work schedule.

The role of the Business Member Services Officer is to promote business products and services to new and existing members. The Business MSO will deliver high quality member service consistent with our brand across all delivery channels (in-person, phone, video, and online channels) and have an understanding of InRoads Credit Union policies and procedures related to all business products and services.   This position is responsible for originating, processing, and servicing new business accounts and small business loan requests (Fast Track Loans) as well as assisting members with merchant services, treasury management, and Business Online Banking.

 

This role will require a minimum of two years of experience in working in the financial services industry. At least one year in business/commercial banking is strongly desired. An Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.

 

A successful Business Member Service Officer should be equipped with the following:

 

  • Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills to maintain professional and courteous relationships with all co-workers, members and maintain confidentiality of customer financial information.
  • Must be able to maintain composure under pressure, interact routinely with others face-to-face, by telephone, and through other communication methods using active listening skills and excellent teamwork.
  • Must be reliable in meeting highly accurate work results, strict deadlines, and prompt and friendly service delivery.
  • Requires working with others in a group or team and the ability to remain flexible despite interruptions and/or routine changes to priorities and/or job duties.
  • Must have the ability to travel for business development and community involvement opportunities.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday schedule and be bondable.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and standard insurance.
  • Understands and ensures adherence to InRoads Lending Policy as well as credit union and NCUA regulations, laws, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Complies with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, and OFAC as it specifically relates to the job functions and other regulations that pertain to job responsibilities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including the ability to generate moderately complex reports, and demonstrate a strong understanding of Excel.
  • Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong ability to perform job functions and solve problems with limited supervision.
