At MAXX, credit union professionals and Board Directors experience high-level training and forge valuable new relationships with business partners at the Strategic Link Trade Show. They also raise dollars for life-saving medical care at the annual Credit Unions for Kids Auction, and celebrate the best of the Credit Union Movement at the Annual MAXX Awards Dinner and Gala.

Enchanted Northwest Ball - An Auction Benefitting CU4Kids

This year’s dinner and auction to benefit Credit Unions for Kids will take place Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 6:45 to 9 p.m., during the NWCUA MAXX Convention in Boise. The entire credit union community comes together to raise thousands of dollars for eight Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This year’s Enchanted Northwest Ball will celebrate the region’s beauty where we are lucky enough to live, work, and play.

Should you choose to dress in your finest attire, come as a woodland fairy, or sport your best lumberjack plaid — represent what the Northwest means to you! Break out your finery, have fun, find some terrific auction items, and outbid your friends!

Space is very limited for the dinner portion of this event and we expect it will sell out quickly this year. You’re welcome to buy an individual ticket, tickets for two, or a table for eight (we will increase to a table of 10 if social distancing ruling allows.)

The Silent Auction will move to online only and will be accessible to all – whether or not you attend the dinner.

Scholarships

Continued education and training of credit union employees helps keep the Credit Union Movement vibrant and competitive in the financial marketplace. We understand this can take a significant commitment of time and money.  The Northwest Credit Union Foundation provides professional development scholarships awarding up to $1,000 per year for selected applicants.  Learn more on the  NWCUF website. 

Safety & Risk Policy

Attendees who register for MAXX (EVENT) assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) EVENT.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the EVENT, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee.  Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the EVENT may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact.  Attendee understands and agrees that this Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of NWCUA, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the EVENT.

Attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that NWCUA or the EVENT Venue may implement, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements, state health department guidance, restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, such as social gatherings indoors, including bars or hotel rooms, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all EVENT attendees. Failure to follow the guidance as set forth by NWCUA or the EVENT Venue will result in denial of entrance to the EVENT Venue and also forfeiture of participation in the EVENT and any related fees.

Registration fees are non-refundable after Aug. 28. Substitutions will only be accepted by notifying NWCUA no later than this date.
