MAXX ANNUAL CONVENTION
Where Northwest credit unions connect with each other to influence the direction of the Credit Union Movement.
You’re part of the Credit Union Movement — an army of advocates working together to advance the mission to provide credit union members with meaningful value and a better financial choice.
At MAXX, credit union professionals and Board Directors experience high-level training and forge valuable new relationships with business partners at the Strategic Link Trade Show. They also raise dollars for life-saving medical care at the annual Credit Unions for Kids Auction, and celebrate the best of the Credit Union Movement at the Annual MAXX Awards Dinner and Gala.
This year’s MAXX Convention brings together thought leaders and industry experts who will inspire you and help you understand the latest industry developments at the national, regional, and state levels. We’ll share legislative and advocacy advancement updates, you’ll learn how your Northwest Credit Union Foundation is partnering with credit unions to expand community impact throughout the region, and we’ll connect you with the best-in-class business partners at the Strategic Link Trade Show. This year, NWCUA also has built in more opportunities for roundtable networking with your peers. After participating in this conference, you’ll walk away invigorated and armed with the ideas and tools to meet your credit union’s goals and your members’ needs.

CU4Kids Enchanted Northwest Gala
This year’s dinner and auction to benefit Credit Unions for Kids will take place Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 6:45 to 9 p.m., during the NWCUA MAXX Convention in Boise. This year’s Enchanted Northwest Gala will celebrate the region’s beauty where we are lucky enough to live, work, and play. The entire credit union community comes together to raise thousands of dollars for eight Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Should you choose to dress in your finest attire, come as a woodland fairy, or sport your best lumberjack plaid — represent what the Northwest means to you! Break out your finery, have fun, find some terrific auction items, and outbid your friends! Space is very limited for the dinner portion of this event and we expect it will sell out quickly this year. You’re welcome to buy an individual ticket, tickets for two, or a table for eight (we will increase to a table of 10 if social distancing ruling allows.)
The Silent Auction will move to online only and will be accessible to all — whether or not you attend the live auction dinner. We would love to accept your donation of either an auction item whether or not you can attend the event this year. If you’d like to make a donation see the areas below.
We still have many opportunities to sponsor at MAXX. If you are interested in sponsoring at MAXX 2021 follow the link below.
Silent Auction Donations
Get involved in this year’s CU4Kids Silent Auction! The 2021 Silent Auction will be online only, and accessible to all MAXX attendees, regardless of whether or not they have a ticket to the Live Auction. Donations are now open for Silent Auction items and baskets.
Know a small business that makes the best blankets for hanging around the campfire? Or maybe you’d like to put together the perfect night out to the ballpark, with a gift card for hot dogs and popcorn included? Use your imagination to create an item or basket that will entice and excite potential bidders to help raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in our regions. Every basket donation brings a bid and opportunity to raise more money for the kids. We appreciate the generosity of our credit union community!
Need ideas? Here are just some small NW businesses you might consider purchasing a donation from:
Fiddle & Fern Leathers
The Chocolat Bar
Michelle Beyer Quilting
Please follow this link for more information and to fill out your donation details, and help bring the CU4Kids Silent Auction to life. *Please note, we will not be bringing Silent Auction items to MAXX this year. The auction will be virtual so we’re asking that baskets be identified now and then shipped to winning bidders at the close of the auction. The NWCUA will provide you with the shipping address for the winning bidder in mid-October.
Live Auction Donations
The Live Auction will once again be held during the CU4Kids Auction Dinner that’s taking place on October 6th. We’re seeking great donations that will get people’s paddles raising high and helping us to MAXXimize the bidding for the kids. Have a vineyard tour, vacation destination or some other hot ticket item that you’d like to donate? We’d love to connect on behalf of the kids. If you’re interested in donating a live auction package or having us help custom design one for you, please reach out to Holly Miller.
