New Congressional Seat For Oregon

As a result of the most recent census the House apportionment report has been released and includes and additional Congressional district for Oregon. It is now up to the state to draw up the new district map. Washington and Idaho will retain their current numbers based on the population. Some states will be losing seats and a handful more will be added in the Sun Belt, you can read more detail on the Census Bureau’s website.
