Unitus Community Credit Union has been honored for its Money Quest Financial Challenge and its overall community involvement with two national awards from the Credit Union National Association. The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award and Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Award will be presented in February at CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference.

The 2013 Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction raised $160,000 last week. The annual event was spearheaded by iQ Credit Union, and had the support of 15 additional credit unions and industry service partners.

Wine on the Willamette Tickets Still Available; Credit Unions for Kids Fundraiser to Showcase Outstanding Wines
Unitus Community Credit Unionâ€™s fourth annual Wine on the Willamette event will benefit Credit Unions for Kids and the Childrenâ€™s Miracle Network Hospitals. Tickets are still available for the gala, which is being held on the Willamette Star, a 98-foot yacht.
These funds will go to the Doernbecher Childrenâ€™s Hospital in support of new facilities, equipment, research, and patient programs.
