Gesa Credit Union employees took part in a one-day Habitat for Humanity volunteer event in Richland last month, and the credit union donated an additional $3,500 to the organization’s Volunteer Appreciation Night in Wenatchee.
More than 20 volunteers from Portland-area credit unions teamed up to mentor 70 fourth and fifth graders for a day at Junior Achievement BizTown. For the students, it was a real-life financial responsibility lesson.
