More than 1,000 Washington credit union members have already improved their financial well-being thanks to the Save to Win program offered at six credit unions. All other Washington credit unions are invited to offer the accounts to their members, through the NWCUA’s turnkey program.
Three months and six credit unions later, Save to Win is off and running in Washington. Cash prizes have already landed in the hands of monthly winners and about 600 accounts have been opened.
More than 200 Washington consumers have opened Save to Win accounts since the program launched just a month ago. The first cash prize drawings will put $50 into the hands of five lucky winners May 14.

Clackamas FCU opened the first credit union in Sandy, Ore., on Nov. 16, and residents were literally lined up to open new accounts and take out new loans. The branch’s ATM will be the last on the way up to Mt. Hood.
