St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union’s “Wanted: Friends and Family” campaign was named Best in Show this week at the Northwest Credit Union Association’s 2014 Spectrum Awards dinner, where marketing professionals were dancing in the aisles – Gangnam Style! – and savoring the aroma of a “Keep Your Coffee” campaign that won high praise from judges in three different categories.
The best of marketing, public relations and communications by Northwest credit unions was celebrated at the 2013 Spectrum Marketing Awards dinner in Portland Wednesday evening. More than 40 awards were presented at a dinner attended by more than 90 credit union professionals and business partners.
Judges have finished scoring a record 108 entries into the Spectrum Marketing Awards program, and winners are being notified this week. Spectrum Award and Honorable Mention winners will be honored during the Marketers’ Conference in Portland May 8-9.
Credit Union communicators in Oregon and Washington should expect a notice in their email soon announcing whether they will receive an award at the 2011 Spectrum Marketing and Communications Award luncheon September 22 during the NWCUA Convention & Annual Business Meeting.
The Emmy Award-winning series Biz Kid$, the youth-focused and credit union-funded financial education show on public television, has added yet another award to its trophy cabinet, collecting the 2010 Silver Telly for excellence in Financial Literacy Education Production.
