Gesa Credit Union’s Brian Griffith and Maps Credit Union’s Liz Henderson are passionate about sharing the credit union story, and about protecting its place on the financial landscape. And now they’ll get to share that passion on the industry’s biggest advocacy stage. Both have been selected to “crash” CUNA’s 2014 Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C., this month.

Four young credit union professionals from Oregon and Washington were chosen to “crash” America’s Credit Union Conference next week. The 15 crashers will use design-thinking methodology to plan and build a new tool to help members living in poverty.
