Collectors, Lenders, Marketers Invited to Fall Councils in Beaverton

Lenders will learn about the impact of looming qualified mortgage rules on their loan originations, collectors will get an overview of the judicial foreclosure process and marketers will learn how to more effectively use their websites and social media in November, when the NWCUA convenes its next round of fall councils in Beaverton.

YEA for Oregonians Credit Union; Youth to get Help Starting Businesses

A partnership between Oregonians Credit Union and the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce will give middle and high school students the resources they need to start real-life businesses. The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a national program, is new to Oregon and was launched last week.

NWCUA Announces Support of Bonamici in Race to Fill Vacated House Seat

The NWCUA has announced that it will support Suzanne Bonamici in the race to fill the Oregon House seat left vacant by David Wu’s August resignation. Bonamici currently represents District 17 in the Oregon State Senate.
