2020 Council Program

Councils provide a forum for peer groups to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Council members enjoy networking opportunities, admission to all council-specific meetings, and access to a council-specific e-mail discussion group.

Spring 2020 Council meetings will be held exclusively via Zoom video conferencing to allow for more robust attendance and engagement.

The remaining 2020 Council meetings will be held in NWCUA offices with lunch provided and an opportunity to network with peers. Unable to attend in one of our three locations? Meeting attendees will also be able to call-in directly from their desks, or to convene with a group of their co-workers or peers in a conference room at their credit union. The video conferencing enhancement allows us to expand access to the meetings to credit unions of all sizes and in all geographic locations.

The meetings will take place via the Zoom video conferencing platform. To participate in the meetings, attendees will need access to a computer or video conferencing system with working speakers.

Continued education and training of credit union employees helps keep the credit union movement vibrant and competitive in the financial marketplace. We understand this can take a significant commitment of time and money. 

The Northwest Credit Union Foundation provides professional development scholarships awarding up to $1,500 per year for selected applicants.
