Micro-Communities in Action Awards

Northwest communities are the hands and feet of the Credit Union Movement. Whether they are building leaders, providing education, advocating for our cause, or serving in the community, they embody both the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” and the 6th cooperative principle—cooperation among cooperatives. With the continued emergence and thriving of micro-communities, such as credit union Chapters, young professional networking groups, Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs), and sister societies of the Northwest Chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Network, the Awards Program offers the broader category of Micro-Communities in Action.
