Job Description:

Role:
Supports Rogue Credit Union’s Marketing Team to develop, implement and evaluate marketing strategy and
branding. Uses graphic design and website development skills while working collaboratively with the team to
achieve departmental and business goals in order to achieve Rogue’s vision of the most loyal members in the
nation.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 35% Provides technical leadership in the implementation of website functionality including user
interface management and implementation, Drupal Core configuration and development,
customization and development of modules and code through PHP, MySQL, CSS and HTML
code. Turns design and mock ups into functional websites powered by Drupal. Ensures that all
HTML / CSS are cross browser and cross device compliant. Deciphers and develops features
and functionality as directed while adhering to timelines. Works with Marketing team to
develop campaigns consisting of both micro websites, landing pages, and email campaigns.

E 35% Is responsible for graphic designs and creative collaboration as it pertains to brand, campaigns
and promotions. Adheres to the Rogue’s brand standards manual and graphic standards guide
as well as vendor specifications. Supports creative direction and layouts as directed. Creates
original and complex digital files that are formatted to print properly. Anticipates and solves
creative problems and production timeline issues. Stays current in design trends and software.
Works quickly while under pressure to maintain deadlines.

E 10% Coordinates assigned marketing projects from start to finish. May function in multiple teams
and assignments simultaneously. Maintains Rogue’s branding and marketing strategy, which
will result in measurable return on investment.

E 5% Routinely works with outside vendors to coordinate consistency across multiple web
platforms. This includes working with online banking, loan application providers, online
authentication vendors, rewards systems, etc., to insure that functionality of the multiple
websites and platforms has a consistent front end user interface for members.

N 5% Monitors and reports on email campaign successes and website functionality through the use
of tools such as Google Analytics, and conversion tracking. Based on information obtained,
suggests changes the VP of Marketing to improve the functionality of Rogue’s members and
staff.

N 5% Ensures site is developed to the security standards and best practices required to ensure proper
encryption of all data being sent and received. Continually evaluates current industry trends
and best practices for implementation into platforms utilized by Rogue.

N 5% Proactively performs other related duties as required.

1. Supports and practices Rogue’s mission, vision, values and loyalty culture. Utilizes the service factors
with both internal and external members. Embraces Rogue’s community involvement program in a
positive and proactive manner.

2. Demonstrates technical skills and ability to effectively achieve showcase and achieve the branding
standards of the Credit Union.

3. Consistently looks for creative ways to achieve our Credit Union vision.

4. Meets or exceeds the minimum established departmental goals in order to assist in meeting the Credit
Union goals.

5. Maintains an understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, as well as an
understanding of the Credit Union’s mission and vision.

6. Demonstrates good time management and is extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and
meeting deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates good listening skills and is
able to take direction. Is able to articulate ideas, voice opinions and participate in discussions.

8. Is a creative thinker and problem solver who can drive complex projects with minimal guidance/oversight.

9. Promotes teamwork and works effectively with all departments and branches.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience – Three to five years of related experience in the Graphic Design/Website industry. Two years
minimum administering websites through a CMS similar to Drupal.

Education – A two year college degree or completion of specialized course of study at a business or trade
school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training and apprenticeship
program. Thorough understanding of necessary coding languages that include but are not
limited to PHP, Java Script, HTML, and others as needed to advance objectives around online
services.

Interpersonal Skills – A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
Ability to interact effectively with members of the Leadership Team. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies/individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills – Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook. Strong skills
in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily in Photo Shop, illustrator, and In-Design. Proficient skills in Drupal site development including custom module development, contributed and core modules, along with continued advances in growing Drupal or other CMS practices. Creativity and an eye for detail. Professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate ideas/opinions and collaborate, Self directed with strong time management and organizational skills. Project management skills. Good judgment and decision making
skills.

Physical Requirements – Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and
on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Ability to drive a motor vehicle or arrange for own transportation..

Work Environment – Normal workday with occasional overtime or unpredictable schedule. This position requires
attendance at meetings and events in the evenings and on weekends. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. Travel to Credit Union facilities/regions may be required.
