Please note that Kitsap Credit Union is a non-profit organization employing more than 100 people, and as such falls under the purview of the recent presidential direction for mandated COVID vaccinations. Kitsap Credit Union requires new hires to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. Technical Trainer

 

Summary:   

Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time Technical Trainer to work out of our Downtown Bremerton location.  The Technical Trainer is  responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and conducting on-going training programs that support the growth and development of employees and the experience of our members.

 

Typical Job Duties:   

  • Designs materials, courses, or programs based on analysis, including design of content, activities, assessments, and media selection.
  • Develops standalone or accompanying learning materials such as quick reference guides, job aids, manuals, lesson plans, and resource materials needed to support learning objectives.
  • Conducts Needs Assessments with stakeholders to identify training and development requirements and how knowledge efficiencies can be gained or leveraged in meaningful ways throughout the Credit Union.
  • Collaborates with team and internal clients during the development process to ensure content relevancy.
  • Conducts effective learning sessions through use of lectures, webinars, structured learning activities, assessments, and adult learning techniques.
  • Coordinates learning room activities and ensures all necessary access, equipment, and training materials related to learning are provided.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two plus years related experience in adult education including facilitating, design, and development including delivering adult learning content utilizing:
    • eLearning authoring and/or media development software
    • e-Learning platforms and practices
    • Learning Management Systems (LMS)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous financial institution experience.
  • Previous experience working with Articulate Storyline, Snaglt or similar software
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Episys, JackHenry or similar and teaching use
