Kitsap Credit Union is growing and has a job opening for a full-time hourly, hybrid work eligible Support Services Specialist to work out of our beautiful corporate office in Kitsap County Washington, in downtown Bremerton. This team handles critical Credit Union processes and works with many regulatory bodies. This position processes and supports payment transactions and KCU internal records. This team manages the back end of ACH, wires, cards, and ATMs just to name a few. They also work closely with the branches to help resolve issues. The department leaders believe in cross training; you will learn multiple functions within the department as well as have input on making changes. They are a fun, friendly, team who know each other well and work together to meet the deadlines they are on.

Some of What You’ll Do

  • Maintain day-to-day contact with internal teams, external partners, and members. Provide technical support and serve as a reference on payments and internal records issues.
  • Process, verify and reconcile transactions. Research and resolve transaction exceptions, disputes, and adjustments.
  • Identify, recommend, and assist in implementing workflow improvements.
  • Process and reconcile all ATMs and ATM, debit, and credit card transactions, adjustments and disputes and complete quarterly.
  • Audit reports- track and resolve any issues identified.
  • Vendor management.
  • Process all phases of ACH and Fedline transactions accurately and timely.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three or more years of financial institution experience
  • Two or more years of experience working in a back office support capacity, such as ACH, Fedline, Visa, and/or ATM networks
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of payments , industry, and regulatory knowledge
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of basic accounting, payments , industry, and regulatory requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • AAP Certification
