Job Description:

CapEd’s Software Engineer will analyze Credit Union user and system requirements, developing custom modules for existing applications or creating entire applications as needed.  Will build and maintain custom applications, modules, and scripts, including but not limited to, the core banking system, online banking system, and Office 365 environment. 

Responsibilities also include creating various diagrams, flowcharts and models to illustrate the type of code used and the operational aspects of coding projects.  Will design, build, test, and deploy modules within a development environment prior to staging and production environments.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A four-year college degree preferred and/or professional certification in coding or similar specialized field of work
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience 
  • Minimum of three years coding in C#, .NET framework, Java, Javascript, XML, HTML5 and JSON. Some SQL development experience preferred.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be creative, teachable, adaptive, and tactful
  • Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
