Technical Project Manager

This position is responsible for supporting the role of the Project Management Office (PMO). It plays a key role in the development and implementation of complex projects and programs that support new and current business, driving for continuous improvement across the organization.

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: TwinStar Credit Union offers remote work from the following states only; Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Florida, New Mexico, Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Tennessee, Kansas, and Maine. You must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the approved listed states before first day of employment. TSCU does not offer relocation assistance.

Salary: $87,951.13-$109,938.91/annually depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Plays a key role in the development and implementation of complex projects and programs that support new and current business, driving for continuous improvement across the organization
  • Leads cross-functional project teams with a continuous improvement mindset to deliver large complex projects and programs focused on driving business process optimization and aligning with the organizations with long-term (3-5 year) roadmap.
  • Manages programs and projects simultaneously in accordance with the credit union’s established project management methodologies.
  • Directs program activities ensuring all projects remain on track and support overall program goals.
  • Analyzes, summarizes, and presents on program status, issues, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership. Works cross-functionally to gain alignment, resolve issues and drive action
  • Aligns programs to company strategy, ensuring programs and projects meet their objective while supporting and adding value to the overall organization roadmap
  • Acts as a mentor and provides guidance and direction to other project managers. Supports the PMO through upholding the team values and ensuring all tools, templates, and systems are kept current and working efficiently.
  • Uses experience and knowledge to tackle troubled projects and deliver them successfully.
  • Defines, tracks, and reports on measurable outcomes for programs.

Education & Experience Required

Education

  • High school graduate or GED

Experience

  • 5+ years Project Management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, and managing cross-functional teams in a financial or operations environment.
  • 5 + years working across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • BA Degree in a related field

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: This position is hybrid and based out of Lacey, Washington. Some duties will be performed remotely and some in an office setting. Must be able to travel to services areas of TwinStar Credit Union and to our Cornerstone office on a regular basis (minimum 2 days per week).
