Job Description:

Our regional trade association is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance and Payroll Administration to help provide the support to make our employees’ lives easier.  We are looking for a dynamic self-driven individual to manage daily accounting, payroll, and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Perform all activities necessary to process payroll for the Association.
  • Maintain payroll records.
  • Prepare and process the payroll journal entries.
  • Supervise A/R records.
  • Run A/R aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts. Meet with internal staff, if necessary to resolve client delinquencies.
  • Maintain dues records, reporting and annual distribution of pass-thru agency collections.
  • Reconcile month-end Salesforce A/R log reports and record/review all revenue entries into Great Plains (GP) accounting system.
  • Review and supervise A/P vendor records.
  • Perform A/P functions that includes review and coding of vendor invoices, creation of scheduled check-runs and manual checks in backup capacity.
  • On monthly basis, monitor timely submissions of staff reports by deadline.
  • Review staff member’s expense report entries to ensure proper account coding.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for Great Plains (GP).
  • Analyze/reconcile assigned G/L account balances on monthly basis.

Our perfect candidate has solid problem-solving skills and can manage multiple complex tasks while producing consistently accurate results. Also, the selected candidate would have three plus years of bookkeeping and accounting experience with a strong working knowledge of excel. Payroll experience is a plus.

Finally, our ideal candidate is a continuous learner with a can-do attitude.

Salary ranges from $55-$68k depending on experience.  We also provide a generous benefits package including fully paid medical and dental insurance, matching for your retirement savings, paid vacation, and much more.
