Job Description:


  • Partner’s with Chief Experience Officer and Regional Sales Manager to develop business plans in alignment with the overall strategic goals of the credit union.
  • Effectively communicates organizational priorities and updates to ensure the branch network is in alignment and connected to business strategies.
  • Develops and maintains a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture of belonging in our branches.
  • Ensures a positive and consistent member experience across the branch network.
  • Partners with branch managers to develop individual branch business plans to achieve goals.
  • Facilitates feedback loops from staff, members, and business partners.
  • Analyzes and communicates key ratios and metrics related to goals of functional areas.
  • Has extensive member contact, problem solves, and uses discretion in resolving disputes.
  • Maintains knowledge of all applicable state and federal regulations and demonstrate compliance with set standards.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge of Verity’s systems, technology, policies and procedures to be a branch expert for others.
  • Effectively empowers, coaches, and develops direct reports to achieve results and be owners of their business.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality branch operations and to ensure satisfactory audits by Internal Audit.
  • Prepare and present timely performance evaluations.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • May be required to attend off-hours and off-site meetings
  • May be required to work Saturday hours
  • Traveling will be required for meetings and possible off site training classes



  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a financial institution or related experience
  • Experience in a position involving extensive public contact
  • Experience in training and motivating others
  • Post-secondary course work in business, communications, and lending or equivalent experience


  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet work deadlines
  • Ability to motivate and direct fellow employees
  • Extensive knowledge of financial industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to analyze and resolve employee relations conflicts
  • Knowledge of loan policies and procedures and fundamentals of lending concepts
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and standards
