Job Description:

The Program Manager, Sales Experience drives the development and implementation of sales strategy and planning to optimize WECU’s sales experience, improve sales conversion and generate revenue across the organization. Main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, aligning sales approach with service strategy, developing, and cultivating relationships with internal stakeholders and evaluating sales performance and revenue optimization.  Closely collaborates with other Member Experience program managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Support a member-focused culture that balances accountability for results while aligning with Show up to Serve and doing business in accordance with the credit union’s core values and mission.
  • Actively contribute to establishing budgets and sales pipeline performance reporting and forecasting on a quarterly and fiscal year basis.
  • Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals and help ensure that all Business Lines are reaching their full revenue potential as outlined in annual budget.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development to optimize sales training opportunities, vendor, and consulting resources.
  • Review member engagement and contribute to consistently excellent member satisfaction outcomes.
  • Monitor the market, competitor products, and activities and provide regular insights as business needs dictate.
  • Attend and represent WECU at trade shows, conventions and other local events or networking opportunities.
  • Manage and deploy Secret Shopper program to assess member-facing sales efforts across all business lines.
  • Establish and maintain a strong partnership with internal stakeholders to fully understand business objectives and needs.
  • Apply analytical/quantitative approach to problem solving – knows how to obtain and use data, and comfortable with statistical concepts.
  • Keep informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in sales experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

 EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:  

  • BS / BA degree in business management, finance, or related work experience
  • Five years of experience managing or developing sales and service programs. Broad knowledge of financial institution operations including functions, products/services, and regulations would be preferred.
  • Skilled in handling several projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and exhibit good technical and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new technology independently
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner
  • Experienced with Excel including use of pivot tables, financial functions, data analysis, auditing and additional functions, advanced formatting, and analysis tools.
  • Able to foster internal and external business relationships ensure alignment with business imperatives.
  • Ability to use power point.
  • Basic understanding of online banking, including online security issues
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION: 

The salary range for this position is from $77,103 to $108,851 per year.
