Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

  • Consistently analyzes the consumer portfolio mix and available products making recommendations based on economic conditions, market, delinquencies, and the credit union’s strategic objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors’ rates, terms, and other trends relating to all areas of consumer lending. Recommend rate and product changes as the market and/or economic market conditions change.
  • Maintains an internal audit program to ensure that all policy and legal requirements have been satisfied, exceptions noted and corrected, and maximum efforts have been taken to ensure full compliance on each loan account.
  • Makes recommendations and implements new programs for improvements and efficiencies in lending.
  • Participates in AACU ALCO, Delinquent Loan Committee, Operations and Strategy meetings.
  • Empower and equip the team to succeed through employee engagement, teamwork, and career path development.
  • Hybrid work environment available based on employee performance. Typical hybrid work environment includes 2 days/week working remotely.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Credit Management; at least five years of lending experience in a bank, credit union, finance company, or savings and loan, or the equivalent combination of formal training and experience obtained at a credit-granting institution of comparable size and complexity.
  • At least two years of successful people management skills.

Additional Information:

The pay ranges represent the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on overall performance.

GV 1500: $73,500 – $110,100
