ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as Mortgage Loan Processor for Central Willamette performing in accordance with their expectations.
• Maintain awareness of all products and services offered by third party vendors and effectively market them to members.
• Complete origination services required by third party vendor.
• Meet established sales goals of Central Willamette.
• Assist members with completion of mortgage/HELOC loan application and present applicable disclosures in accordance with policy and regulation.
• Prepare loans for submission to underwriting and notify member of loan decision.
• Make realtor field calls and submit call reports as requested.
• Stay alert to current market conditions, products, and changes in the marketplace.

• Recommend new products that might improve market share and report market trends and conditions to AVP.
• Register and maintain a unique identifier through the Registry.
• Maintain awareness of regulations, lending standards, and rate/fee schedules appropriate for all loan types.
• Cross sell all Credit Union services in conjunction with accepting mortgage loan applications.
• Cooperate and work with co workers as a team member.
• Prepare Initial Loan Acceptance requests from Triad Financial Services and submit for recommendation to accept/reject to AVP and/or COO
• Complete Triad Loan funding’s and follow up functions as needed
• Performs all responsibilities in accordance with CW Values, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
• Attend training and comply with CWCCU policies and procedures as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to present a professional image to management, staff, and outside contacts.
• Thorough knowledge of financial institution products and services, policies and procedures, remote delivery channels and member service functions. Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, customer service, communication and presentation skills.
• Thorough knowledge of all state and federal regulations that are applicable to the Branch function.
• Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
• Ability to assess and implement organizational changes.
• Excellent planning skills, both short and long term planning, financial acumen and analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience
• A minimum of two years mortgage processing experience preferred.
• A basic understanding of processing real estate mortgage products.
• Excellent marketing and sales skills.
• Secondary market background necessary.
• Strong communication skills required; both written and verbal.
• Computer literate.
• Proficient use of ten key.
• Typing skill with emphasis on accuracy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects.
• Vision (or corrected) to the normal range.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1 – 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

BENEFITS

Employees are eligible for  medical, dental, vision and Flexible Spending Account coverage the first of the month following their date of hire. After a 90 day wait period, employees are eligible to enroll in Group Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability. After 6 months of employment, employees are eligible to enroll in our 401k Plan.
