Our Mortgage Loan Closer will efficiently close mortgage loans by preparing and obtaining all necessary loan documentation required to secure lien position in accordance with federal regulations and Credit Union procedures while interacting with the borrower, external closing agents, and other internal departments throughout the closing and post-closing process.  Experience with conventional, FHA/VA, and IHFA required.  This position is responsible for validating and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all required mortgage loan documentation to meet investor, agency, insurer and Credit Union qualifications.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Three to five years of mortgage processing or related experience
  • Two year degree preferred; business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • High level of accuracy in all areas
  • Proven communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Spanish Bilingual preferred but not required
