The Mortgage Disclosure Specialist is responsible for preparing loan disclosures and processing rate lock, rate change, and extension requests. Relying on a concrete understanding of all current secondary market guidelines and state/federal regulations, this employee will prepare loan disclosures throughout the residential mortgage process in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks including processing borrower rate locks and confirmations, updating CapEd’s loan origination system to reflect investor information, and examining and analyzing disclosure documents to ensure accuracy. Will maintain an excellent working knowledge secondary market guidelines, including Conventional, FHA, VA, IHFA, and USDA Rural Development.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience
- Two year degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of current secondary market guidelines, including Conventional, FHA, VA, IHFA, and USDA Rural Development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Spanish Bilingual preferred but not required
