Member Service Center Funding Specialist

Responsible for the preparation and review of documentation needed for loan approval, as well as loan documents. Responsible for the overall coordination and correspondence with Member Service Representative (MSR) for the closing and funding process of consumer loans. Works with MSRs to review documents and prioritize loan funding.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
45% Reviews, processes, and coordinates consumer loan transactions to verify that application data is complete and meets credit union standards. Sends document verifications as necessary, updates loan origination software with loan information, prepares loans for signing, and contacts members for any loan documentation necessary to fulfill Underwriting conditions.
40% Ensures workflow efficiency along with the assigned MSR while maintaining an exceptional loan experience for the member. Adheres to department Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Reviews and monitors file activity promptly, prepares closing documents, and coordinates signing with front line staff or with the member to sign electronically. Coordinates with dealers, private parties, or lenders when necessary.
5% Stays current and compliant with applicable regulations and Rogue Credit Union policies and guidelines. Learns and utilizes various in-house technical systems and programs to provide optimal support to assist the member and the Member Service Representative. Reviews processes regularly and recommends adjustments to the processing workflow to improve the member experience.
5% Serves as the face of the credit union, builds rapport, and ensures a pleasant experience that creates Loyal Member relationships. Stays up to date on Rogue Credit Union’s products and services.
5% Pro-actively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
