Job Description:

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and execute plans to facilitate growth of credit card transactions and balances in accordance with the credit unions strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with SVP/CLO and VP of Consumer Lending on credit card production goals and campaigns. Analyze current and prior production, goals, and campaigns to determine effectiveness and plans for future efforts.
  • Partner with Marketing on the development and execution of Credit Card Promotions. Partner with Digital Operations to maximize digital presence and offer presentment.
  • Manage and enhance existing credit card products to maximize engagement with cardholders.
  • In partnership with other credit union functional areas, develop and deliver initiatives to achieve product growth. This includes, but is not limited to Retail, Marketing, Business Services, Centralized Lending, Digital Operations and Card Operations.
  • Partner with Card Operations to manage the existing rewards programs and interchange revenue, including reporting, analysis, and campaign planning.
  • Partner with Centralized Lending on credit card and HELOC underwriting guidelines and procedures.
  • Research industry standards and competitor programs and make recommendations for the credit unions credit card program to the Chief Lending Officer and VP of Consumer Lending based on industry best practices.
  • Partner with Visa to ensure credit union is utilizing all available tools and services to maximize product offerings to our membership.
  • Become intimately familiar with Visa operating regulations. Be proficient in applicable federal regulations appertaining to credit cards, as well as other lending products.
  • Responsible for developing and executing plans to maximize HELOC growth and utilization for both new and existing HELOCs. Working with Marketing on HELOC campaigns and determining effectiveness for future efforts.
  • Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge applicable to this position and understand and comply with government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US Patriot Act and related regulations.
  • Actively participate and fulfill expectations in the Credit Union Email Security Awareness Program as outlined in the Information Security Program Acknowledgement document.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: A minimum of three to five years similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
