Job Description:

As an ITS II, you will serve as one of the technical experts and lead on large, complex projects. Are you ready to resolve highly complex end user device computing issues, working closely with architects to establish/publish client computing standards and other lines of business to identify technology solutions to resolve business technology needs?  If so, then this may be the role for you!

Your day might include:

  • Effectively and professionally providing Tier 1 support for Service Desk functions and services offered to WSECU employees and Board Members
  • Answering phone calls to the IT Service Desk and providing courteous and professional support
  • Professionally and courteously assisting walk-up customers who seek assistance with technology
  • Participating in quarterly visits to the branches
  • Developing documentation to standardize support and streamline processes
  • Training people on technology use on a daily basis
  • Providing on-going support and communication to IT Liaisons
  • Developing and maintaining open and professional relationships with vendors supporting the Service Desk functions
  • Effectively utilizing WSECU’s service request system to manage workload
  • Utilizing SCCM to build and deploy computers and applications
  • Following Service Desk procedures for communicating and resolving client computing issues
  • Configuring, administering, and supporting:
  • Client computing devices; including thin clients, PCs, phones, printers, etc.
  • Integration of WSECU applications and client computing devices
  • Active Directory GPO management and Active Directory Access Management functions
  • Printing functions and management

What you bring to the team:

  • A two-year technical degree or higher; a combination of education, experience, and certifications may substitute for a degree
  • Two years of experience supporting client computing devices.
  • Current A+ Workstation Certification
  • Current Network+ Certification.
  • Security + Certification
  • Ability to visit other branch locations, including occasional overnight travel

Bonus points if you have:

  • ITIL Certification
  • Ability to collect and analyze data
  • Ability to use formulas, perform calculations and link items in Excel
  • Proficiency with O365
  • Good project management skills

Competitive pay: $26.51 – $39.77 per hour, DOQ, depending on applicable qualifications

Where we’re located:  Corporate Office 330 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA.  Position works in a hybrid work environment – combination of working from home & in office.

When you’d work:  Monday–Friday, standard hours 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, full time, with scheduling flexibility and on-call hours required for this non-exempt position.
