We are currently looking for full-time non-exempt Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team!  In this role, you will work in a collaborative team environment to conceptualize, build, implement, and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing communications and campaigns using email, web, digital banking, and other digital channels. Develop and maintain website content. Serve as primary technical lead and subject matter expert for digital channels and software. Participate in projects related to SELCO’s digital marketing channels and user experience.

This position is eligible for a hybrid onsite and remote work arrangement for those who meet the requirements, with the onsite location reporting to Headquarters in Springfield, Oregon.

The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30 pm, with some Saturday and Sunday hours.

COMPENSATION

Base salary: The full salary range for the Digital Marketing Strategist is $27.85 to $42.15 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $32.65 and $37.35 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This range will be converted to semi-monthly ranges for full-time employees.

Annual Incentive: In addition, all SELCO team members receive an annual incentive based on how well SELCO meets the prior year’s strategic business goals. This incentive is calculated using the team member’s prior year eligible earnings and ranges from 0%-12% (with the average payout over the last five years being 11.07%).

POSITION DETAILS

Essential Functions include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):

  • Conceptualize, build, implement, and analyze effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns to meet marketing and organizational goals.
    • Apply email design and best practices to create single and automated campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms.
    • Leverage data and digital platform resources to build journey maps, identify target audiences, measure effectiveness, and analyze results.
    • Recommend strategies, such as A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization, to test and improve campaign effectiveness.
    • Monitor and share digital marketing best practices, results, and trends.
  • Develop and maintain website content to meet the organization’s brand and business goals.
    • Create webpages using content management system (CMS) and best practices to optimize member experience.
    • Work with vendors to maintain calculators, forms, CMS, and other third-party solutions.
    • Assist in managing search engine optimization and produce reports and analytics.
  • Schedule downtime for online banking and website maintenance. Post urgent announcements on website and other appropriate digital channels in the event of unanticipated closures, delays, and service outages.

Required Skills and Abilities include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):

  • Ability to conceptualize, design, build and analyze performance of email and other digital channel journeys.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, including knowledge of systems as it applies to department usage including Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar digital marketing software, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficient in web page design using content management system.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization and use of online platform measurement tools such as Siteimprove, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Insights.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent related experience; and
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a marketing or corporate communications-related position responsible for the creation of digital marketing campaigns; and
  • Financial institution experience preferred; and
  • Must be bondable.
