Digital Marketing Specialist

Location:  Corporate Headquarters (Springfield, Oregon)

Employment type/status:  Regular, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Benefit eligible: Yes

FSLA status: Non-exempt

Required schedule/availability:  M-F (8:00am-5:30pm) and some Saturdays or Sundays

Note:  this position is eligible for ongoing work from home arrangements if the candidate meets requirements

ABOUT THE POSITION:

SELCO Community Credit Union is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team at the Corporate Headquarters location in Springfield, Oregon. This position will work in a collaborative team environment to develop, deliver, maintain, and track performance of digital marketing assets and campaigns across email, web, social, and mobile channels. They will work with other Marketing Department colleagues to create and execute targeted omnichannel digital marketing campaigns and communications, using data analytics and marketing automation software to identify and segment target audiences, deliver messages, and report results. The successful candidate brings a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a digital marketing-related position with experience developing automated email campaigns. Job duties include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):

  • Working in partnership with SELCO’s Senior Digital Marketing Strategist and other stakeholders to plan, develop, and execute digital marketing and communication campaigns that support business goals
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of SELCO’s website
  • Scheduling downtime for online banking and website maintenance. Posting urgent announcements on website and appropriate digital channels in the event of unanticipated closures, delays, and service outages
  • Posting and maintain accuracy of SELCO’s online business listings, and monitor and respond to online reviews as appropriate
  • Participating in the planning and execution of SELCO’s social media strategy
  • Demonstrating creative and innovative thinking and foster this environment with team members

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong search engine optimization and online measurement platform skills, such as Siteimprove, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Insights
  • Sophisticated computer and software application skills including Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, email design and marketing automation software, and other systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing including through electronic channels
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with individuals and groups at all levels both within and outside the Credit Union
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high level of initiative, responsibility, and accountability, including the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Strong problem resolution and prevention skills

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or Communications, or equivalent related experience; and
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a digital marketing-related position with experience developing automated email campaigns; and
  • Must be bondable
