Job Description:

Advantis Credit Union is looking for a digital banking support specialist. The Digital Banking Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the credit unions Digital Banking channels by providing technical assistance to employees and members.  This includes providing support through phone, email and chat, troubleshooting digital banking online or mobile app issues, and providing knowledge and support of digital banking products and services.  The Digital Banking Support Specialist takes ownership of the member experience by educating members on how our digital services can improve their banking experience, and serves as a champion for the credit union’s digital banking solutions both internally and externally.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assists members and internal departments with a variety of requests over email, chat, and phone.
  • Identifies source of member problems and effectively provides resolutions.
  • Manages requests from other departments sent via the Digital Banking Service Incident Queue.
  • Actively participates in product pilots and testing for new digital banking products and services.
  • Supports Credit Union payments systems.
  • Processes remote wire requests with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to security standards.
  • Processes card disputes per CU guidelines.
  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of all applicable policies, procedures, & product lines for electronic banking channels.
  • Ensures that work area, reports, correspondence and records are neatly and accurately maintained.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year previous retail banking and/or call center experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a technical support role strongly preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to constant change and effectively handle unexpected issues.
  • Ability to identify source of digital problems and effectively provide resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, including working multiple chat sessions concurrently in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Proficient in use of video conferencing tools, personal computer, particularly word processing and spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to deal with unexpected events and attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
