Pay Range

The full pay range is $130,667.00-$196,001.00 annually. Depending on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking a Deposit Product Manager to join our team! This position develops, implements, and manages performance of deposit products. Leads the Deposit Product. Management Team while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with organizational strategies, objectives, member, and staff experiences. Ensures products align with credit Union strategies while identifying opportunities and risks. Evaluates product performance and ensures competitive positioning within the market and is constantly evaluating and actively managing the portfolio.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes strategies for managing a multi-billion-dollar deposit portfolio across a wide geographic region.
  • Drives implementation of new deposit products and services, as well as product recalibration through the coordination of cross-functional teams.
  • Conducts market research, consumer and business product performance, competitor information, and member and staff feedback to ensure the right feature set and to identify new business opportunities and products while assessing risk.
  • Manages the P&L for all insured deposits for the organization and responsible for growing the deposit portfolio through product innovation, pricing, working with marketing on promotions across our geographic footprint.
  • Develops consumer and business deposit product functionality and features (e.g. system requirements, pricing) and a roadmap for future features and enhancements.
  • Tracks budget impact, including cost structure, product financials, revenue impact and product profitability for cash management and deposit products.
  • Leverages an understanding of price elasticity and sensitivity analysis to set pricing strategies and to aid in financial and performance forecasting for the deposit portfolio.
  • Collaborates with key partners and Pricing Committee to identify and set priorities for fee development/modifications, pricing, and positioning.
  • Partners with Marketing for product promotions to ensure organizational and portfolio growth and profitability objectives are met.
  • Manages the Deposit Product team consisting of the Deposit Product Owner and the Deposit Business Intelligence Analyst to continually evaluate the effectiveness of deposit products, programs and overall product performance.
  • Utilizes data, analytics, and feedback to develop product strategies and project roadmap and backlog. Provides recommendations to management for implementation and acts as the primary business sponsor for deposit related projects.
  • Monitors and evaluate compliance, regulatory and legal changes related to deposits that may affect products, services, or fees.
  • Participates in Pricing Committee and understands the impact of deposit pricing on the balance sheet and income statement (ALCO perspective). Evaluates profitability of deposit products to include contribution, margin, and cost of funds.
  • All other duties as performed.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a financial services product development and management.
  • 2+ years managing deposit products or similar products and pricing models.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, or related field.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  •  Strong company advocate with deep understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Deep understanding of segmentation analysis.
  •  Ability to lead a team of direct reports and lead cross-functional teams through influence.
  •  Ability to analyze data and systems to successfully develop deposit products.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is paid at a 100% by company for the employee coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA) and Day Care FSA (DCFSA). Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.

All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
