Job Description:

We are searching for an enthusiastic and team oriented Consumer Loan Servicing Associate to join our consumer lending department. In this role, you will process and audit auto loans through Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) for dealerships throughout the nation. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in consumer lending and handling sensitive documents. Are you the candidate we are searching for?

Job Duties:  

  • Review, audit and process loan documents efficiently and accurately while adhering to all lending policies and regulations
  • Answer member inquiries on products, process, and services, as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and other meetings as required by department/business unit
  • Encouraged participation in charitable, business, or professional associations in which First Tech is a member or participant
  • Completion and adherence, of and to, all required regulatory coursework and material

Essential Skills: 

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ previous experience in loan operations (funding, servicing, processing); bank or credit union experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processes
  • Familiarity with SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, Reg. C., Reg Z, FCRA, MLA and FCRA
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to ask probing questions to determine member needs and overcome objections
  • Effectively interact with peers, management, and other internal and external points of contact
  • Effectively manage Service Level Agreements and varied workloads in high volume production environment
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflict with dealers and customers
  • An ability to efficiently multi-task and easily transition between job functions

Location:  Hillsboro, OR 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm w/potential rotating Saturdays
