Salal Credit Union of Seattle, WA is looking to hire a Capital Markets Analyst to work with departments across the Credit Union to facilitate the purchase and sale of loans to other financial institutions. Reporting to our Capital Markets Manager, this position will be a dependable partner to internal stakeholders and curate relationships with external brokers and other financial institution contacts.

The Capital Markets Analyst will sell participation interests in loans and service investor sold participation loans and pools. This function requires a high level of attention to detail, dedication to customer service and relationship building, an analytical mindset, and comfortability working with all levels of management internally and externally.

The Capital Markets Analyst earns a competitive wage of $54,000-75,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is eligible to be performed fully remote within the Credit Union’s hiring territory.


  • At least 1 year of experience working in a data-centric role (reporting, databases, modeling, analysis).
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience with lending or credit analysis is desirable.
  • Demonstrated High attention to detail with respect to data and files.


  • Facilitate the sale of portfolio loans directly to other financial institutions and through brokers.
  • Educate potential investors and brokers on our loan programs and collateral classifications.
  • Provide participants with accurate monthly and annual reports.
  • Create and review loan pools with attention to detail with respect to balances, account numbers, and loan status.
  • Review digital loan files for accuracy and ensure investor-requested files are complete.
