An ideal candidate would embrace individuals, credit unions and community. An ideal candidate would specifically be someone that feels a connection with InRoads Credit Union. A strong candidate would be able to align themselves with the credit union brand and promote and communicate it to members and potential members within the communities served. A likely candidate is someone that has a welcoming presence, is outgoing, detailed oriented, timely, organized, professional, gets along with others and is a proficient team member. Qualified applicants must be reliable with deadlines and strong with follow-through.
This position will provide exceptional customer service to all internal, external, and future members through various avenues; therefore strong listening, interpersonal skills and communication is a must. This individual will routinely share information regarding InRoads products and services and facilitate appropriate connections throughout the organization based on the needs of members and potential members alike.
Outreach within InRoads communities and counties makes up a good portion of the required job description. An individual in this role must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently. Depending on the needs of the organization, a person in this role may spend anywhere from 25%-75% of their time away from a desk setting. Someone in this role would need to be flexible and embrace opportunities to work, not only during standard business hours, but evenings and weekends as events and business needs arise. This position requires access to a vehicle, a valid driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance. This individual will need to be able to transport and set up marketing materials both on and off-site.
InRoads Credit Union is looking for applicants with 2 year of job related or similar experience including knowledge of credit union products and services and leadership. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field is also expected. (Note equivalent experience in business development or sales may be substituted for education and related education could be substituted for work experience. Qualified applicants will need to be able to use computer programs similar to Microsoft Office Suite and other financial institution programs, as well as feel comfortable with using the internet and social media.
