Summary

Kitsap Credit Union is hiring for a full-time salaried Branch Operations Manager to work out of our Harborside location in beautiful Kitsap County. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and administering the operational efforts of the assigned Branch and the Operations Support team in support of the Credit Union’s strategic plan.  This position ensures that established policies and procedures are followed and supports the assigned team(s) to foster a sales-oriented culture. Oversees provision of a broad range of services directly to members and prospective members, as well as internal customers in a manner that enhances the Credit Union’s reputation.  Promotes quality service and provides positive leadership to the Kitsap Credit Union team.

Typical Job Duties

  •  Ensures the achievement of Branch/Department goals with regards to sales, service, safety, security, and compliance. Responsible for quality, quantity, accuracy, and timeliness of work produced by assigned employees.
  •  Analyzes and identifies member needs and effectively promotes and cross-sells products and services while ultimately achieving an acceptable level of production based on goals and objectives.
  •  Ability to analyze staffing needs to ensure employees are best utilized during peak and slow times.
  •  Responsible for contributing to the creation and execution of best-in-class business support practices, providing subject matter expertise for operations department systems and processes and their relationship to other departments.
  •  Reviewing, identifying, analyzing, and recommending business processes, workflow changes, products/services to improve and maintain the highest level of operational efficiency and profitability in Branch Operations, looking for ways that automation may create efficiencies.
  •  Ensure the Operations Support serves as a central connection point via phone and teams for front line staff and credit union members.
  •  Leads efforts to identify solutions and ensure resolution of complex requests and member issues.

Basic Qualifications

  •  High School Diploma or GED.
  •  Three years’ related work experience in retail financial operations.
  •  One-year prior experience leading, managing and coaching a team.
  •  Must be registered with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System within 30 days of hire and comply with SAFE Act regulations.
  •  Must be able to work Saturdays and extended business hours.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  •   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  •  Experience with Episys, Meridian Link, and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
  •  Prior experience implementing The Member Advantage (TMA) methodology.
