Job Description:

General Responsibilities: In accordance with established policies and procedures, serves as a liaison between our members and the Credit Union. Performs all membership service representative transactions as requested from members by phone and various support functions as requested by management. Promotes the use of Credit Union’s services by recommending products based on individual members’ needs, desires, and goals.

Specific Functions:
1. Manage, maintain and promote the Credit Union’s App
2. Answer multiple calls with a smile and return messages left on the general voice mailbox.
3. Process online VISA payments
4. Answer checking and savings account balance inquiries
5. Ability to calmly handle general questions regarding fraud on an account.
6. Transfer loan inquiries to the appropriate department or take loan applications over the phone if others are not available
7. Answer any and all questions regarding Membership accounts
8. Determine member needs and cross-sell and promote Credit Union services based on those needs.
9. Be proactive in suggesting product changes/adjustments or additions
10. Will handle backup tasks of member mail and correspondence, returned mail research, and possibly other tasks.

Bilingual preferred, Spanish Speaking!

Specific Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Education: High school graduate

 Must have a minimum of 1 years experience in the financial services industry.
 Ability to demonstrate efficient and accurate 10-key
 Proficient use of the computer in various programs and ability to navigate independently
 Independent decision maker
 Outstanding member service skills
 Willingness to promote Credit Union services
 Able to sit for long periods of time
 Dedication to the Credit Union’s success

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
