Inform the Future Track Overview

Engage in thought-provoking sessions that deconstruct and re-inspire your notions of leadership and the future  you’re  creating.

Offered as part of the CU Learning TRAXX program, the six 60- to 90-minute sessions in this track will bring the most riveting and revolutionary keynote speakers on leadership and the future directly to your team.  

This track offers thought-provoking and inspiring programming for credit union professionals across all levels and departments. Sessions will focus on leading through a crisis, the importance of diversity in leadership, the role of credit unions in the global landscape, leadership at all levels, and more, including just-in-time content to ensure you’re staying ahead of the curve!

During live sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to network with their credit union peers and industry experts on the cutting-edge CU Learning TRAXX digital platform. All registration options include access to live sessions and on-demand access to post-session recordings, so you can learn at your own pace and at a time that’s convenient for you!

Speaker: Kevin Parker
This session focuses on creating resilient teams by equipping them with the tools and training the need to nimbly navigate even the toughest crisis or conversation. Explore a world-renowned model of leadership honed at the Harvard Kennedy School, implemented at fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Military. There Are No Leaders. Now What?

This session examines leadership versus leaders. We’ve all studied the great leaders, read the books, watched the movies, and played follow the leader. What if you learned there were no such thing as a leader? What if, instead, we discovered that leadership is a muscle to be exercised, utilized, rested, and recovered — something we can develop, hone, and target. How would that unlock potential in your team and help grow bench strength within your organization? Let’s find out.

Speakers

Kevin Parker
Next Level Executive Coaching
Owner • Dutch Bros. Coffee, Spokane, Washington

Kevin is the owner of Dutch Bros. Coffee in Spokane region, overseeing 230 employees and ten locations. He is a former Washington State politician and a former advisor to a senior member of U.S. Congress. Parker spent his career developing expertise in servant leadership, fiscal sustainability, and building a strong company culture. He is a Fellow at the Aspen Institute and served as a facilitator at Harvard University. 

Parker was named one of Spokane’s most influential business leaders multiple times and received over 30 awards for his leadership efforts in business and the community, including: Spokane Citizen of the Year, Washington State Citizen of the Year, the Community Trustee Award, Philanthropist of the Year for Mid-Size businesses at the Spokane Philanthropy Awards, and received accommodation from the United States Congress. 

Concurrent with his work at Dutch Bros., Parker teaches organizational behavior, leadership, and entrepreneurship at Whitworth University and formerly at Gonzaga University. He created the Executive Leadership concentration for the Whitworth MBA program, which is credited in helping the MBA enrollment soar. He sits on the board for both Gonzaga’s School of Leadership Studies and the Regional Health Partnership between Gonzaga and the University of Washington. He is currently studying in Gonzaga’s Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies.

Cancellation Policy
