Program Overview

The National Credit Union ISAO & Department of Homeland Security Cyber Incident Response Virtual Tabletop Exercise is facilitated remotely by Department of Homeland Security using FEMA’s VTC. This exercise will raise awareness of cyber risk management, cyber related planning, and other issues related to cyber incident prevention, protection, and response.  The purpose is to:

  • Enhance the cyber resilience of Credit Unions.
  • Examine cybersecurity information sharing processes during both steady-state and incident response.
  • Discuss plans, policies, and procedures that guide cyber incident response actions.
  • Discuss Credit Union resources and capabilities required to respond to a cyber incident.
