About the Event

Dear Credit Union Friends,

You are invited to join the North Idaho Chapter of Credit Unions as we celebrate International Credit Union Day on October 15th at 6PM. We are excited to announce that Jody Azevedo from Numerica CU will be one of our guest speakers as well as a representative from the Kootenai County Boys & Girls Club.

This year the board has chosen to highlight the Kootenai County Boys & Girls Club as our local charity for the evening. The theme for International Credit Union Day this year is “Inspiring Hope for a Global Community”, and I cannot think of a better theme, as we all have witnessed firsthand the hope that Credit Unions have given to their communities during this trying year. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, but Credit Unions have stayed strong in their commitment to give back to their community and stay faithful to their core values and beliefs that set them apart from the competition.

We will be holding our Annual Meeting directly after dinner as we were unable to hold it in May due to COVID, this will be a short meeting with a brief recap of what the Chapter has been doing this past year. There will also be a call for nominations from the room for our current board opening.

The North Idaho Chapter will be following the Panhandle Health Districts recommendations for the evening, there will be social distance precautions in place as well as temperature checks. Masks will be requested, if you do not have one, we will provide you with one. Let’s have a fun social-distanced evening with our fellow credit union friends of Eastern Washington and North Idaho!
