Overview of the Virtual Auction

This year’s virtual auction benefitting Credit Unions for Kids will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. PST. We look forward to continuing the tradition of gathering our entire credit union community as we raise thousands of dollars for our eight Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Participate in a virtual tasting of wine or chocolate. We’ll pair our tastings with some paddle raises and toast to 34 years of supporting Credit Unions for Kids. While we have closed our wine and chocolate orders to allow time for shipping, we hope you’ll still register and join in the fun.

What is Credit Unions For Kids?

Credit Unions for Kids is one of the Northwest legacies we’re most proud of. The credit union movement’s “charity of choice” was born in 1986 when a group of Northwest credit unions began raising money for sick children. Their idea was adopted nationally in 1996. Today, Credit Unions for Kids is the third largest fundraiser for the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and has raised more than $185 million for the kids.

Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues and associations, and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.

Every single dollar donated by members of the credit union movement stays local. That means that 100 percent of donations go back to the CMN Hospital that serves your community, your members. CMN Hospitals treat millions of children every year.

When: Thursday, November 12, 2020 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. PST 

Where: Online – Zoom information will be sent to registered attendees two days ahead of time. 

Details: We are excited to partner with Frichette Winery and The Chocolat Bar, who will each join in leading us in virtual tastings during the auction.* We appreciate their support of the CU4Kids Auction.

* We are no longer taking orders for wine and chocolate. In order to ship items in time for the event, all orders needed to be placed by no later later than Friday, October 23.  You are still welcome to purchase a ticket to attend for $35. We look forward to seeing you at the auction!
