Katie Clark is the Director, Regulatory Affairs & Risk Management for the Northwest Credit Union Association. In this role, Clark helps credit unions navigate the areas of compliance, operations, physical and information security, cybersecurity, and business continuity. Clark also works in the area of regulatory advocacy to help reduce the regulatory burden on credit unions.
With over 14 years’ experience in the financial industry, Clark has held roles in both for-profit institutions and credit unions. These roles have ranged from retail branch positions to Bank Security Officer, BSA Officer, Internal Auditor, and Compliance Specialist. In addition to her experience, Clark holds the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and Bank Secrecy Act Specialist (BSACS) designations from CUNA. She also has an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Clark College and is currently completing her BA in Business Administration at Washington State University.
