Erin Bennett serves as Manager, Events & Partner Marketing for the Northwest Credit Union Association, assisting staff in leveraging the tools necessary to efficiently manage responsibilities and serve our member credit unions. Developing and directing event logistics, assisting in database management, developing full scale project plans, assembling, coordinating, and directing project teams, as well as providing administrative support are all ways she helps staff accomplish their goals.
After earning an AA from Portland Community College, she went on to earn a BFA in interior design at Marylhurst University. Her degree led her to a position as a manager at Stephen E. Earls Showroom, a high-end residential interior showroom. On top of experiencing the interior design world in a commercial setting, she honed her project management skills by aiding designers in planning and executing projects, acting as a liaison between designers and manufacturers, managing accounts, and providing customer service support.
Bennett, a longtime credit union member, is excited to use these skills to give back to the Credit Union Movement.
While she appreciates the opportunity to exercise and further develop her project management skills at the NWCUA, her favorite part about working with credit unions is experiencing their philosophy, and the support and care they offer their members and staff.
