Amy Hunter
Amy Hunter has been the director of credit unions for the Department of Financial Institutions since November 2018. She leads a top-notch division of professionals who regulate and oversee 50 state-chartered credit unions, ranging in asset size from $15 million to $30 billion. Before joining the division, she had a 20-plus-year career in gambling regulation, another highly regulated industry. Amy has a law degree from Seattle University School of Law and a bachelor’s in sociology/criminal justice from Kansas State University.
