Economic and Community Impact Surveys to Hit Inboxes This Week

Documenting credit unions’ community and economic impact with hard data has proven to help advance credit union priorities at the state and federal level.

This week, the Northwest and Mountain West credit union associations are distributing economic and community impact surveys to credit unions in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

Data collected through the survey will inform robust reports that will be widely distributed to lawmakers, regulators, consumers, and media early next year, during the 2023 legislative sessions.

Credit unions will also have access to a toolkit of resources to help them share the reports with internal board and staff members, as well as externally in their local marketing and community outreach efforts.

Credit unions are encouraged to complete their surveys.. Links to the survey and a tutorial video will be included in emails to credit union leaders this week.
