TAPCO Celebrates Gig Harbor Branch Grand Opening

On April 22, TAPCO Credit Union, based in Tacoma, Washington, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new branch in Gig Harbor. During the event, the credit union offered a “Getaway” giveaway valued at $2,500.

The new location is part of the credit union’s expansion to serve communities in Pierce County and represents its sixth branch, coming on the heels of branches that opened in Bonney Lake and Frederickson in the last few years.

“Since 1934, TAPCO has been committed to improving the financial health of families and communities in Tacoma and Pierce County, and this is another big step forward in that mission,” said Justin Martin, Chief Executive Officer in a press release. “We’re excited to be extending a hand across the Narrows to the folks in Gig Harbor and the surrounding communities to continue that work.”

Located in the Pioneer Square retail complex at 7109 Pioneer Way, the 2,300-square-foot space underwent a complete redesign to make it more inviting and member-friendly, boasting an open concept, comfortable waiting area, and remodeled personal banking stations.
