Video: 2021 YP Leads Weigh in on the Power of Advocacy

As champions of the Credit Union Movement, every advocate knows the importance of sharing the credit union story with elected officials.
This advocacy season, credit union professionals across the Northwest and from all levels of their organizations showed up in a big way to make the Credit Union Difference shine during each state’s Credit Union Days at the Capitol and the CUNA GAC. The 2021 YP Leads were among them, leveraging their newfound knowledge and unbridled enthusiasm to make their voices heard, loud and clear.
Building on the momentum from their experiences at MAXX 2021 last fall, the cohort leaned into numerous opportunities over the following months, deepening their advocacy engagement and inspiring those around them to take part in creating a brighter future for credit unions.
From attending advocacy events and conferences to forming new young professional networking groups, these passionate individuals are proving they’re more than just advocates — they’re true ambassadors for the Movement.
