Resource Alert: National Credit Education Month Starts Next Week

Every day, credit unions guide their members toward better financial health. One way they do this is by improving their money know-how through a variety of financial education resources.

In fact, according to recent data collected by NWCUA’s Community Impact Reporting Tool (CIRT), Northwest credit unions provided financial education to more than 213,000 consumers across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in 2020.

With next week signaling the start of National Credit Education Month, it’s the perfect time to remind members of the ins and outs of building and maintaining a healthy credit score.

NWCUA will soon add helpful content to its Marketing Resource Center that Northwest credit unions may share with their members throughout March. The content will include pre-written social media posts, customizable blogs featuring tips and tricks for improving credit scores, and eye-catching graphics.

Credit unions may download these resources, customize them as needed with their logo, relevant service offerings, or other important details, and share them wherever they see fit —on their website, multiple social media pages, in newsletters, etc.

Stay tuned for more updates to come soon!
